Off the Wall… with Eric Lenaburg 4/9/18

One of the most productive all-around players from the 1960’s & 1970’s was slugger Dick Allen. Despite piling up some of the most impressive numbers in baseball history, Allen is not a member of the Hall of Fame.

As we go Off the Wall today, Mark Carfagno joins us. Mark was a groundskeeper for the Philadelphia Phillies for 30 years, and he shares his memories Dick Allen and talks about the push to get him into the Hall of Fame.

Take a journey with us through the era some refer to as “The Golden Age” If Major League Baseball. Along the way, you’ll see why so many people are clamoring for Allen’s inclusion into the Hall.
