Each of the “Seven Sisters of Big Oil” (Chevron/Texaco, Exxon/Mobil, etc.) reports record breaking profits following the invasion and occupation of Iraq.
Responding to confusion on the part of consumers about how this could be happening, the information division of the state highway department has devised this informative and graphic sign to explain the situation.

    When we left the house this morning the local gas station on the corner posted the price per gallon at $4.05. Several hours later the same station had it at $4.15

    The price is going up by the hour.

    The current investigation of the speculators makes a lot of sense. Hwoever, where was it a year ago? It wouldn’t surprise me to see that the p[rice is rtificially inflated rather than on a supply and demand.
