Kittatinny Camp Quiz
Did any of your children or grandchildren ever get into camping? My son Phillip, who recently turned 18, would have “none of it” when the opportunity was presented.
Any stories to tell?

I went to Kittatinny as a counsellor of the youngest boys in 1948. I had played on the University of Tennessee’s 1945 Rose Bowl Team and when I entered Temple Dental School two years later I played on their team. At camp in ’48 I became engaged to Joy Solomon, a counsellor on the girl’s side. Sometimes we went to a place called Flo-Jean’s in Dingmans Ferry. Later that year we were married in Philadelphia (our home town.) In ’87 we moved to Florida for 16 years and now we have been living in Las Vegas for five years. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary this year in December . It would be great if we can arrange to get to the reunion. We’ll try. I’m also trying to send a picture I have of my bunk in 1948. I hope you get it. Where’s the link to send a picture?

Hi, Leonard. Thanks for checking in. Please send all pictures to me at rtyko@pc4dc.org
I’ll gladly post them. Try, if you will, to identify as many of your bunkmates and fellow counselors as you can.
Thanks,
RZT

Hi!
I attended KLC it’s last 10 years. My mother, Gloria, was camp mother for part of that time. Would love a reunion at Layton Bar!
Please keep me posted.
