The Yankees in The Zone 7/15/21
Jack Degraw and Robert Deininger discuss how important it is for the Yankees to start out the second half of the season strong. They start off their second half with a four-game series against the 1st Place Boston Red Sox. In fact, 8 of their first 11 games are against Boston, and with the Yankees trailing Boston by 8gms, it’s imperative that they get off to a good start. And after the 8gms with Boston, the Yankees play three games against the Rays. The next two weeks could determine the rest of the Yankees season, and with Aroldis Chapman unable to find the strike zone, along with other injuries to their pitching staff, as well as the starting rotation being a bit thin, things could get ugly quick. We discuss this and much more, including the success of their minor league teams.
