The Yankees in The Zone 8/31/21
Robert Deininger and Jack Degraw discuss the Yankees recent 13-game winning streak, which propelled them up the Wild Card standings and past teams like the Athletics and Red Sox for the top spot. We also discuss Giancarlo Stanton’s recent power surge in his last 26-games. He attributes his success in the batters-box due to the fact he’s finally back to playing in the outfield. Saying that when he was the DH, he’d constantly think about his previous at-bat while sitting in the dugout, but playing in the outfield forced him to think about playing defense and not his at-bats. We also touch on Aaron Judge’s season thus far, and how he’s quietly, but consistently putting up some big numbers. We talk about the Yankees starting rotation, bullpen, injury news, and much much more!
