The Yankees in The Zone 9/10/22

September 10, 2022 at 5:25 pm (Comfortably Zoned Radio)

Robert Deininger and Jack Degraw discuss the Yankees lead in the AL East, which used to be a double-digit lead, but now has dwindled down to 3.5 games over the Tampa Bay Rays. We talk about their remaining schedule, as well as the Rays remaining schedule which is brutal compared to the Yankees. We also talk about the historic season that Aaron Judge is continuing to have (Judge is putting up numbers not seen since Mickey Mantle), and his chances of tying or passing Roger Maris’ HR record, as well as his chances of winning the Triple Crown (Batting Avg., HR, and RBI’s). We also touch on the Yankees injuries and injury news, Mark Leiter; former MLB pitcher and now pitching instructor who teaches Robert Deininger’s nephew, and the passing of former MLB pitcher and friend of Comfortably Zone Radio Network, Mark Littell.
