Jack and Robert preview the Yankees upcoming ALDS series against the Cleveland Guardians. We discuss Aroldis Chapman being left off the ALDS roster and how the Chapman era may be officially over.
We talk about the Yankees first three starters; Cole in Gm. 1, Cortes in Gm. 2, and Severino in Gm. 3 as well as who they’re matched up against.
We also touch on how Aaron Boone is non-committal on DJ LeMahieu playing in the ALDS due to his lingering injury. Boone and his thoughts about Giancarlo Stanton not playing in the OF right away, especially LF at Yankees Stadium, and how Boone said Taillon’s role could evolve from long reliever to possible closer.
We also talk about the role of rookie Oswaldo Cabrera, Matt Carpenter and others in this series, their possible lineup for this series and if Cleveland will look to pitch around Judge and Stanton depending on what the lineup is, as well as our predictions.
