Blog Reconstruction Update
Miraculously, what with the recovery today of the pictures in this post, [cartoons not withstanding. There was no text and I have no idea where they are and which they were… and this does not at all please me.] I’ve pretty much restored the fucker.
Last Thanksgiving week, my password was stolen, and the blog deleted. Thankfully [pun intended], the text part was easily recovered within the first few days. Not so the pictures [gone from the wordpress system]. I found them on the computer, and then tediously, painstakingly, lovingly, gladly, [sometimes] sadly matched them up to 400 some odd blog posts. Hundreds of pictures. Hours of work.
I needed a full time/part time job like a moose needs a hat rack. That said, and although I will never, ever again talk to [let alone forgive]the people responsible, I’m deriving great satisfaction from the completion of said task…

I am not a computer geek and, in fact, rely on my kids and spouses for computer updating and instrtuction. However, I can truly appreciate all that you have accomplished in restoring a deleted site – how remarkable!! I am not sure if there are any more pictures that were not sent to you from my archives. But others have mentioned sending some along so I will faithfully watch the blog.
No, I will not be going to the reunion in July since there were no definite plans set up.
Stay well and healthy. Next time I’m in California will look you up.

Thanks for the nice woids, Doc. The reconstruction remains, a work in progress. Just yesterday, I re-posted a picture to the ‘Fred Hartman Post,’ that I had earlier, inadvertently overlooked… I’m doing the best I can, given my “cat-like” attention span. :-)
I hope to see you in California soon. Maybe we can get together with Chuck Rait, who lives close to me, in Santa Rosa.
